Is it just us or has skincare become very confusing? There was a time when we washed our faces and put on a moisturizer. If you were fancy, you had a daytime cream AND a nighttime cream. Now there are toners and serums. Vitamin C is the new vitamin E, and there is something called retinol.
We won’t pretend to be dermatologists. We are all about healthy skin from the inside and out. But, we do know we prefer simple, all-natural products that we understand. This DIY essential oil face mist contains only three ingredients that you may already have at home.
Learn how to make homemade face mist spray with witch hazel and distilled water. Essential oils will help to calm your skin. Plus, you will enjoy the benefits of a mini aromatherapy facial!
Tip: For added hydration try adding a small amount of aloe vera
Notes
It is best to store your essential oil face mist in the refrigerator. If you do so, you can keep it up to one month. If you choose to keep it at room temperature, use it within two weeks.
Let’s circle back to where we started. Essential oil face mist is a toner. As such, it should be applied after you wash your face and before you apply serum. You can also use it to set your makeup. Getting your face on sure has a lot of steps these days. If they all involve nourishing products like this one, we are all for it!
