Easy Iced Mocha Recipe – Keurig® Style

Iced cafe mocha is one of the most popular Starbucks chocolate drinks. You can even buy it in cans or bottles at convenience and grocery stores.

Most of us felt excited about this new ease of access. Until we saw the price. But, considering Starbuck’s price is about $4 – $5, the $3 small cans seemed reasonable.

What if we told you that you could make the same iced mocha for pennies per serving? If you are purchasing canned or jarred iced mochas, stop now. We will save you time and money with this easy iced mocha recipe using a Keurig® brewer!

How to Make Homemade Iced Mocha With a Keurig® Brewer

Ingredients:

1 empty 1-gallon milk jug
1 quart of chocolate milk
2 quarts of half & half
Hershey’s Syrup
4-5 dark roast K-Cup® coffee pods (Dark Magic works great!)

Directions:

Pour the half & half and chocolate milk into the empty 1-gallon milk jug.
Brew all of the K-Cup® coffee pods on the lowest water setting of your Keurig® brewer. Choose the strong button if your machine has that feature.
Add the now brewed coffee to the milk jug containing the half & half and chocolate milk. At this point, your ingredients should be below the shoulder of the milk jug.
Fill the rest of the way with Hershey’s Syrup.
Shake very well.
Place in the fridge to chill.

You now have one gallon of mocha to enjoy for up to one week. You can serve in a tall glass filled with ice. Or you can heat it in the microwave or on a stovetop for a hot cafe mocha. How to Make a Peppermint Mocha With a Keurig® Brewer

There are two options you can choose to make your mocha minty. First, add peppermint-flavored syrup. Follow all the steps above to make iced mocha. After you add the Hershey syrup, leave a little bit of room for five to six shots of peppermint flavor. Adjust to your taste. Or you can replace the dark roast K-Cup® pods with Donut Shop Peppermint Bark.
