How to Make Oat Milk Face Mist for Dry Skin

Ingredients:

  • ½ Cup Distilled Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Steel Cut Oats

Directions:

  1. Combine the oats and water and let sit for 30 minutes.
  2. Run the liquid through a cheesecloth or similar strainer.
  3. Dispose of the oats.
  4. Place the remaining liquid into a medium mister bottle and enjoy!

Notes:

Don’t use instant oats for this face mist. They will simply soak up the water turning it into a very tasteless oatmeal rather than give you oat water.

Do You Have to Use Distilled Water For Face Mists?

Yes, you should always use distilled water for homemade face mists. Distilled water is free of contaminants. This pure water is gentle and suitable for sensitive users. It is especially essential for this oat milk version to soothe dry, irritated skin.
