How Does the Oasis Mirage Water Filter System Work?

  1. Sediment Prefilter – removes dirt, sand, rust, and other solids.
  2. Carbon Prefilter – improves the taste and odor of your water by removing chlorine, chemicals, and pesticides.
  3. Carbon Prefilter #2 – reduces solids including bacteria, pharmaceuticals, and metals
  4. RO Membrane (optional) – further removes dissolved substances, including radium, lead, arsenic, and many others.
  5. Polishing Filter – final polish for crystal clear, refreshing drinking water.

Choose from standard carbon filters or RO (reverse osmosis). What is the difference? Carbon can filter down to .01 microns. RO filters have a smaller pore size and can filter down to .001 micron.
